Spray mix = water plus product. Add products the way each label says, then top up with water to the spray-mix volume.

Always read and follow the product label. The label (and your local rules) set the rate, water volume, mixing order, weather conditions, protective gear and withholding periods. This calculator only does the arithmetic on the numbers you enter - it does not recommend any product or rate. Calibrate your sprayer so the water rate you enter is what it really puts out.

How we work it out

  • Hectares per tank: tank size ÷ water rate.
  • Product per tank: label rate per hectare × hectares that tank covers.
  • Last tank: only mix what the leftover area needs, so nothing is left over to dispose of.

Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere. Converting US or imperial gallons per acre? Use the spray rate converter.
